Laura Mercier Flawless Contouring Palette | First Impressions and How to

This cream contour palette includes two cream highlights and three cream, neutral, brown shades.

This palette is targeted for people with a darker complexion.

Retail Price: AED 232

Packaging:

My first Impression:
All the cream shades seem to be very soft and creamy, they melt like butter with the touch of a finger. I mean that in a very good way. Take for example the Studio Fix concealer from mac, it has a tough texture that needs a lot of warming up with the fingers for it to apply easily. This palette has the complete opposite texture.

I applied the products with a small buffing brush and worked the creams into the skin. They blended out easily and no patchiness or streaks were left behind.

This is a palette that I find will be very useful on clients. It will cater to people with medium to dark tones.

Demonstration:
Firstly, I applied foundation all over my face and neck.

Second, using the yellow, shimmery highlighter, I focused it mainly on the check bones as I don't like to highlight any other areas.

Thirdly, I applied contour #1 in the hollows of my cheeks, at my jawline, and my temples. My face is round so I try to keep the shadows at the parameters of my face to make it seem longer.

I blended everything with a beauty blender, set the face with powder so it doesn't move around, then proceeded with bronzer and blush.
All in all, I give it a thumbs up!

Laura Mercier products are available at all AREEJ stores across UAE.
