Taupe Eyes and Purple Lips | Makeup Tutorial

Hello beauties,

I've been posting a lot of eye close-ups on my Instagram page (@BlendNSmack) lately with a simple product listing in the caption but I think its time I have tutorials up on my blog for each eye-look I do. Let me know in the comment section below if you guys would like to see any of the previous eye makeup looks that I have done!

Anyway, onto this tutorial...

EYES:
Step 1:
Start of with a clean and primed eye. I used Urban Decay's Primer Potion.
Step 2:
Apply an eyeshadow close to your skin color all over your lid. This will help all your shadows blend easier. I used 'White Chocolate' from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette.

Then taking 'Milk Chocolate' , a light taupe-brown shadow, and a blending brush, apply 'Milk Chocolate' in and above the crease.
Step 3:
SauceBox Cosmetics - Creme De La Creme palette
Bottom row eyeshadows
Using the shadow 'Secrecy' from the SauceBox Cosmetics Creme De La Creme palette, apply it all over the lid.

I used a concealer brush because its stiff bristles allows you pack on eyeshadow easier and get a more intense color without using something like Mac Fix Plus to enhance the shadow.

Step 4:
Using the blending brush and 'Mauve' from the Lorac Pro palette, apply it in the crease and blend so no harsh lines are visible.
Step 5:
Draw a winged liner.
Step 6:
For the bottom lashline, lightly apply Mauve and blend it.

Add:
Rimmel Scandalous Rockin' Curves mascara on the top lashes.
Clinique Bottom Lashes Mascara on the bottom lashes.
HudaBeauty lashes in Giselle.

LIPS:
Since the eyes were very neutral and soft, I paired them with vibrant, bold, purple lips. I used MAC's lipstick in Heroine.

...And thats it!

I hope you enjoyed this look and learned something!
