iHerb: Website Review + Haul (Real Techniques, E.L.F, and more)

Hello ladies,

If you, like me, are addicted to online shopping or want to try online shopping but are reluctant then this is the blog post for you. I recently made an order from a US based online shopping website called iHerb, and let me tell you, this website will blow your mind!

iHerb carries an extensive collection of makeup and cosmetics, including Real Techniques, Physicians Formula, Everyday Minerals, Eco Tools, E.L.F (eyes lips face). and many more.

Pros

  • Extremely fast shipping. I made the order on the 20th of March at 9:37 PM and the package was in my hands on the 22nd of March at 3:45 PM. That is not even two days!! It came all the way from Kentucky, USA in around 42 hours! How is this even possible?!?
  • Low prices.
  • iHerb sells the infamous Real Techniques Brushes by Samantha Chapman at retail price. Prices range from $8 to $11 (around AED 30 to 40). I doubt you will find them at any cheaper price anywhere in the world (unless fake).
  • Shipping cost is so low. My package weighed 1.72 kgs and shipping cost was only $10.38!!! You get charged the same amount if you order within UAE from local websites.
  • Package is delivered by DHL and you can track your shipment.
  • Great customer service. They missed out on one item and as soon as I emailed them they replied within 5 minutes saying that they will refund the item ( 2 day procedure).
  • You get freebies which is always a good thing.
  • Safe Website and has a record of 99.9% of its orders being issues-free.

Cons
  • Their selection is fairly limited when it comes to known cosmetic brands.

    2. Hey Sarah!. Indeed their shipping is faster than local sites. Love the tracking service by DHL too. So detailed!. I have normal skin leaning towards dry at times. Would you recommend that for my skintype?.

    3. Hmm, clay masks are best for oily skin as it extracts all excess oil and cleans the pores. If you have normal to dry skin then I recommend a moisturising and cleansing mask.
Sometimes my pores are visible so I try to minimise them with such masks. I don't think you'd have this issue.
Hope this helps, Naznin :D :D
